Dr. Stan Hill is the founder of Hill Center for Dermatology, P.C. While the Center opened it's doors in February 2005, Dr. Hill has been in the area for quite some time. For seven years he worked in a large dermatology group with offices in Evergreen, Thornton, and Wheat Ridge. He was then recruited to help establish a dermatology department for a large specialty group in Idaho. After this was successfully established, he returned Colorado. With encouragement from the local medical community, his family, friends, and former patients, he opened his own practice.
Dr. Hill grew up in the West and received degrees in liberal arts, respiratory therapy, and biology. He started medical school at Wake Forest University in North Carolina and finished at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology while in Ohio. He was chief resident in the dermatology department, became board eligible in 1997 and passed the exam the same year. Dr. Hill has special interest in skin cancer, other skin growths, acne, and dermatology surgery. He is a Mohs surgeon, has lectured extensively to professional and public organizations, and is a member of many professional organizations. He is married, has two children and enjoys traveling, scuba diving and photography.
